I have no idea what job I want to doo?

Try to remember that at 16 you have mes of time ahead of you. Even if you go down one road now, you can always change later on. Don't do anything just to please your dad (though I guess you want to), it is your life not his. IT is certainly a popular career nowadays and maybe he thinks it would be more secure than something "arty". If you enjoy your designing and textiles then go for that - research all the courses available. Ask your teachers for advice. Be confident in yourself and go for your dreams.
