Has polititical correctness gone mad?

It wasn't that many years ago that racism, ism and other "isms" were completely acceptable ( and are still going Strong in some nations). Being politically correct these days is more a sign of good manners and setting a good example for our children. Part of coming together is treating each other with respect.
