How could "Butler" be a Ukrainian last name?

This is a name in my family and I always thought it was English. But I've been researching my ancestry and we've traced it back to Ukraine of all places, and no it wasn't changed either that was their name in Ukraine. Was it just some weird fluke where English people ended up in Ukraine?
