Do you have Shingles now? Or is this post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from previous Shingles? If you have it now, you most likely need a prescription for Valtrex, Zovirax, or some facsimile. If you have a rash from trauma caused to the skin from Shingles that you've already cleared up with medication, you can either give it time and it will clear up eventually, or see your doctor and possibly get a steroid cream.
