Why is Bush now spouting off rhetoric about how "Iran" is now the "source" of terrorism?

Iran may indeed be supplying weapons to Iraqi insurgents but the U.S. military doesn't seem convinced. The Bush administration's credibility is so tarnished that few people are willing to take their word for anything. And if they make war against Iran weapons will be smuggled in from somewhere else. The Iraq war is a bungled attempt at empire building disguised as a war on terrorism. It's very sad and very expensive but the administration has painted themselves into a corner and they don't have a clue what to do so their policy is to do more of the same until they p the baton and let the next administration worry about it.
