Fun ways to ask a guy to a dance?

we have a girl asks guy dance coming up and i want to ask a guy that im very good friends with to go with me. i need some creative ideas on how to ask him. an example of what we do at our school- my friend took a puzzle put it together fliped it over and wrote sweetheart? on it then broke up the puzzle and put a piece in fifty balloons blew them up and put them on there doorstep anyone have any good ideas?
