Has music lost its nostalgia, why have we been bombarded with music 24/7?

Please don't hate me for making this valid point, but i find the more the years go on the more years have to go by before i hear a song that i feel nostalgic towards, another example is in the 80's people loved the 70's, in the 90's people love the 80's, well in the teenies (i.e NOW) does anyone hold the late 90's and 00's as truly nostalgic in the same way (come on), anyone remember the feeling of just hearing a track on the radio that was only around 3 years before and saying oh remember this one, the last time i said that was 1993 and the track was im too y by right said fred 1991. i can't remember hardly anything since then that's given me nostalgia. and im not even old so you can't blame it on that.
